Our client based in London, a stealth AI startup are hiring their first Software Engineer to join their team! The role is hybrid with 2 days in their central London office. No sponsorship offered.

What You'll Do

• Full-Stack Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of both front-end and back-end technologies to ensure a user-friendly platform.
• Data Infrastructure: Build and manage data pipelines, leveraging insights to continuously improve AI models and learning outcomes.
• Database Management: Ensure that essential information is securely and efficiently stored in and retrieved from databases.
• Collaboration: Partner with leading researchers, data scientists, and engineers to push the boundaries of AI.
• Stay Informed: Continuously monitor and apply the latest advancements in AI research.

You will bring:

• Experience in full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Background in DevOps, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, along with tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in front-end development using React and Next.js
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling)
• As a bonus, some exposure to MLOps tools and an understanding of Generative AI and LLMs
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
