Location:London/Remote/hybrid (one day per month/quarter office visits)

The Role

In this role, you'll be closely working with the Head of Engineering, designing and building software systems that make a real difference in the world. You'll also be mentoring junior engineers, helping them grow and succeed. If you enjoy a hands-on job where you can see the impact of your work, this could be a great fit for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement software solutions focused on urban safety.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
• Work with other teams to bring new technologies into their projects.
• Keep up with the latest trends in technology and help the company stay ahead.
• Get involved in the decision-making process, shaping the future of the company.

Technical Proficiency

We're looking for someone with experience in:

• Python (including Flask or Django)
• Front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
• Designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
• Data analysis tools (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of time-series databases (SQL, InfluxDB) and machine learning is a plus
• Exposure to Computer Vision Engineering would be a big bonus including; OpenCV, TensorRT, Tensor Flow, YOLO Darknet
• GCP and AWS

Exposure to Object Detection or Visual detection projects would be a big plus
