The Trading Infrastructure Engineering team is integral to maintaining a robust and efficient trading environment. They ensure that software releases are conducted safely and consistently while guaranteeing high availability and optimal performance. This team collaborates closely with traders and a diverse array of tech professionals, including developers, systems engineers, network specialists, and performance engineers, in a multifaceted technical ecosystem. The environment involves managing high-volume data flows over a low-latency infrastructure to execute sophisticated trading strategies.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Rapidly troubleshoot and address production issues while implementing long-term solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Utilize cutting-edge open-source technologies to minimize downtime, translating trading demands into actionable technical specifications, and collaborate with specialized teams to design and deploy sustainable solutions.
  • Organize, prioritize, and strategize changes to trading software, ensuring seamless exchange migrations and swift rollout of new features.
  • Partner with traders, quantitative analysts, and various tech professionals to navigate a complex technical landscape, effectively managing high-volume data streams within a low-latency framework.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in roles related to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Systems Engineering, DevOps, or MLOps.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Bash scripting; familiarity with other programming languages is a plus.
  • Essential knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Deep understanding of the Linux operating system.
  • Experience in constructing and managing machine learning pipelines is a bonus.
  • Competent in querying databases.
  • Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive approach with a strong eagerness for personal and professional growth.
