About the team Checkout.com’s Design team is made up of UX Researchers, Product Designs, Technical Writers, and Content Designers who all play critical roles in advocating for user perspectives throughout the product development lifecycle. Our UX Research team is a core part of Design and Product where the synergies allow us to keep a close pulse on our customers and grow close relationships with them. As a User Experience Researcher (UXR), you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, operations and business stakeholders and contribute to all stages of product development. Across all functions, we have the shared mission of ensuring that our customers’ experiences are nothing short of exceptional. We strive to deeply understand what drives our users and how we may consistently deliver thoughtful product experiences. About the role We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual who thrives in environments where they excel in taking ownership to develop research programs that consistently achieve product impact for our customers. As part of our Product and Design community, you will have the opportunity to learn from different disciplines, explore new domains, and attend training that focuses on your interests and career growth. The ideal candidate will be able to combine their quantitative and qualitative expertise to better understand users’ behaviors and motivations, drive product strategy, and improve the overall experience for internal business users and Checkout.com’s customers. This role is based in London. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week. Qualifications You might thrive in this role if you: Excel working in lean and fast-paced environments Think in systems, often curious about how to scale research insights to a larger group of audiences Have the interest to grow relationships with users, listening out for opportunities to solve their most complex problems Passionate about research programs to raise the bar of user-centric thinking across the organisation Enjoy collaborating with Researchers and Data Scientists to develop end to end understanding of customers and contributing your strategic perspectives Flexible in designing and conducting independent research using the right methods to generate user insights that drives user-centric decisions on product development Humble attitude to receiving feedback and curious to learn from people around you Desire to contribute to the growth of our Design and Product partners Act as a thought leader in the domain of mixed-method research and being the voice of our users in company forums Foster a collaborative culture across our design disciplines, product, engineering and business teams by first understanding their perspectives and challenges We’d like to hear more about your experiences with: Working closely with cross-functional teams to identify research topics, prioritize research plans and deliver critical insights in a timely manner Establishing yourself as a mixed method researcher with a track record of strong quantitative behavioral data analysis to extract actionable insights Translating business problems into research projects and programs that resulted in effective target user engagement Examining existing data and products to write hypotheses and plans for research using appropriate methodologies Defining and measuring quantitative UX goals and metrics in collaboration with Designers, Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers, Operations and Commercial stakeholders Effectively communicating user insights through varied delivery approaches Bringing stakeholders along with you as you uncover user needs for product development opportunities Additional Information Apply without meeting all requirements statement If you don't meet all the requirements but think you might still be right for the role, please apply anyway.
