The Role:

We are seeking aProduct Ownerwith aCondition Monitoringbackground to join our team and take ownership of ourfleetMONITORsoftware. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape the future of the product, ensuring it meets the needs of our customers while delivering innovative, high-impact solutions.

As aProduct OwnerforfleetMONITOR, you will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and roadmap of the product, working closely with our engineering, data science, and customer-facing teams. You will ensure the product meets the evolving needs of our customers, especially in the context of condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and performance optimization.

Your in-depth knowledge of condition monitoring and real-time data analytics will be essential in translating customer requirements into product features and improvements. You will serve as the voice of the customer and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure fleetMONITOR is continually evolving to support the monitoring, analysis, and optimization of critical assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision & Strategy:
Own the product vision forfleetMONITORand drive its evolution. Define the long-term product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with customer needs, industry trends, and ONYX Insights business goals.

Customer Focus:
Work closely with customers to understand their pain points, use cases, and needs. Use this customer feedback to prioritize features, enhancements, and optimizations in the product backlog.

Backlog Management:
Develop and maintain a clear, actionable product backlog, defining user stories, feature specifications, and acceptance criteria. Continuously prioritize based on customer value, technical feasibility, and business impact.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work with engineering, data science, and UX/UI teams to ensure successful execution of the product roadmap. Ensure clear communication between all stakeholders and that development milestones align with product goals.

Condition Monitoring Expertise:
Leverage your deep understanding ofcondition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and asset management to drive the design and enhancement of features within fleetMONITOR that deliver real value to users.

Data-Driven Decision Making:
Use data analytics to evaluate product performance, measure the impact of new features, and drive continuous improvement. Ensure that fleetMONITOR provides actionable insights that improve asset reliability and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Engage with internal stakeholders (sales, support, marketing) and external customers to ensure alignment on product goals and timelines. Effectively communicate product progress and updates to stakeholders.

Product Launches & Support:
Lead product releases and work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches. Provide product training and documentation to ensure customer success.

Iterative Improvement & Feedback Loop:
Monitor the performance and adoption of fleetMONITOR, gathering user feedback, identifying areas for improvement, and driving iterative enhancements.

Youll have/be:

Product Ownership Experience:
Proven experience as aProduct Owner,Product Manager, or similar role, with a track record of delivering successful software products. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is essential.

Strong Analytical Skills:
Comfort working with data and analytics to drive product decisions. Experience with data-driven product development and using KPIs to evaluate product success is highly desirable.

Customer-Centric Mindset:
A passion for solving customer problems and delivering value. Experience interacting with customers to gather feedback, identify needs, and translate those into actionable product features.

Collaboration & Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and customers to drive product initiatives forward.

Technical Acumen:
A strong technical understanding of how systems work, including data gathering, analysis, and implementation, is crucial for effective product ownership. While not necessarily a developer, the ability to comprehend technical concepts and a willingness to continuously learn are key to bridging technical and business needs.

Ideally youll have/be:

Condition Monitoring Experience:
In-depth knowledge ofcondition monitoring,predictive maintenance, andasset managementin industries like renewable energy, industrial automation, or manufacturing. Experience working with real-time monitoring systems and IoT technologies is a plus.

Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity withfleet monitoringsolutions,asset health management, andIoT technologiesis highly beneficial. Understanding of the broaderrenewable energyorindustrial monitoringsectors is a plus.
