The role

A Senior Technical Artist position pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved within Unreal Engine to build a digital fashion pipeline in partnership with our creative and engineering teams.

This is a unique role working on previously unsolved problems that will require extensive experience developing and iterating toolsets within Unreal Engine, implementing VFX tooling and in interest in clothing simulation for luxury fashion.

Responsibilities

• Research, design and assist with the creation of tooling in the Unreal Engine, to automatically rig clothing onto avatars in the Unreal Engine
• Iterate on clothing simulations, both inside the engine and in other programs
• Assist with the construction of high-fidelity environments to improve the visualisation of clothing
• Iterate on lighting, animations, camera sequences and rendering in the Unreal Engine to help produce photorealistic renders of clothing items on avatars
• Assist with the development of pipelines to automate the generation of clothing items and avatars.

Requirements:

• Experience in working as at least a senior Unreal Technical Artist in games or other industries
• Experience with Maya
• Technical depth and programming knowledge in Unreal, C++, Python
• Creative capacity to iterate on building high-quality environments, simulations, animations and models
