Responsibilities

As a Principal Solution Engineer, you will be a key technical & business partner to the EMEA Sales Team for large enterprise accounts, responsible for demonstrating the value of our software solutions to prospective and existing customers. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that address the unique challenges of our customers' IT and OT environments.

  • Technical Expertise:Develop a deep understanding of our IT and OT software solutions, including their capabilities, integration points, and value proposition for very large enterprises.
  • Customer Engagement:Partner with the EMEA Sales Team for large enterprise accounts and meet client CXO’s to identify customer needs, challenges, and objectives, translating these into impactful solution demonstrations and presentations.
  • Solution Design:Architect, develop and deliver innovative impactful compelling demos and presentations tailored to specific customer needs and C-level audiences.
  • Presentations & Demos:Deliver compelling product demonstrations, workshops, and Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements to showcase the value and ROI of our solutions.
  • Collaboration:Act as a trusted advisor, working with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Customer Success, and R&D, to ensure solutions meet customer expectations and technical feasibility.
  • Market Awareness:Stay informed on industry trends, competitive solutions, and evolving IT/OT technologies to provide thought leadership to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strengthen Partner Ecosystem:Develop joint go-to-market strategies/demos to showcase TeamViewer technologies in customer-centric solutions. Help expanding strategic partnerships with GSI’s and IT solution providers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (10+ years) as a Solution Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or similar role within the IT or OT software industry, selling to Large Accounts in Direct Mode.
  • Expertise in enterprise software solutions, preferably in IT/OT integration, data analytics, cloud technologies, or industrial IoT.
  • Strong understanding of large enterprise environments, including typical challenges, architectures, and decision-making processes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in front of VLE CXO’s, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with enterprise-level Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements and solution design.
  • Proficiency in modern tools and platforms (e.g., cloud infrastructure, virtualization, APIs, and middleware).
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset and a customer-first approach.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, additional languages are a plus
  • Keeps himself up to date on current trends in the IT industry and continues his education
