The role involves supporting andtraining software engineering squads on the best usage andutilization of GitHub Copilot / GenAI to aid in the softwaredevelopment lifecycle. This is a fully remote position and willinvolve working closely with various global teams to improveengineering efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks.Responsibilities Embed within each individual team for a 2-weeksprint period, implementing a wash, rinse, repeat model.Participatein paired programming with engineering teams to maximize the use ofGitHub Copilot in day-to-day work without disrupting ongoingprojects.Review ways of working, tools, pipelines, and testingenvironments as part of the 2-week sprint coaching period perteam.Establish balanced scorecards for team metrics and measureimprovements.Install and configure tools as part of pre-training,ensuring completion of computer-based training (CBT).Conductpost-engagement reviews, including feedback collection, improvementprogram implementation, and metric reviews.Measure team performanceusing standard tools such as NextGen Jira and GitLab. EssentialSkills Prior experience in rolling out GitHub Copilot and coachingengineering teams on its usage and utilization.Experience withpaired programming.Proficient in code reviewing.Knowledge ofGenerative AI, including artificial intelligence and machinelearning.Familiarity with CI/CD, continuous improvement, continuousdeployment, and continuous development processes.Proficiency inJava, .Net, SQL, Typescript, JavaScript (React), andPython.Understanding of natural language processing.
