Fuelled by our exponential growth and market demand, we are looking to add a smart andSenior Software Engineerto our team. In this role, you will be developing and deploying the next version of Contilio’s cutting-edge 3D AI platform. You will work closely with the vision and product teams to define and implement customer requirements and delight our blue-chip customers.

What you will be doing:

1. Develop our core software and deployment process, including:
   1. System architecture design and improvement
   2. Implement and test backend, analytics engine, database and integrations
   3. Cloud deployment and performance optimization
   4. Establish, implement and track the development and product KPIs
   5. Perform code reviews and learning sessions
   6. Contribute to and develop Contilio’s knowledge base
   7. Train junior team members

Technical skills you need to have:

1. 5+ years of experience designing and implementing maintainable, high-quality enterprise/B2B software in an agile environment
2. 2+ years of implementing software project elements from design to deployment
3. High proficiency in Python and React delivering scalable production code
4. High proficiency using RDBMs, ideally Postgres
5. Experience with AWS or Azure and familiarity with Docker and container orchestration
6. A degree in Computer Science, Math, or other related fields

Any of the following is a plus:

1. Start-up experience ideally in AI, computer vision or enterprise software
2. MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Math or other related fields
3. Experience with 2D/3D vision or big data applications
4. Experience with Terraform and IaC
5. Familiarity with a second object-oriented language
6. Familiarity with BIM or construction scheduling tools (Autodesk, Primavera etc.)

Where you will be working:

We work in a hybrid manner, 2-3 days a week in our cool London Shoreditch office.
