Having recently secured Series A funding, they are ready to expand their backend engineering team and are looking for a skilledSenior Backend Software Engineerto support their next growth phase.

With a compact, highly talented tech team of fewer than 15 people split between Software Engineering and Data Science, this organization is well-positioned for rapid growth.


They’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team and directly support the CTO, with opportunities for significant impact on the company’s core technology and processes.


The Role

In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to the company’s bespoke platform, built on AWS and Python, which powers complex workflows, including machine learning training and predictions.


You’ll work with experienced and junior engineers alike, contributing to both the software and data-focused aspects of the platform. If you’re looking for an opportunity where you can work hands-on with innovative technology in a biotech context, this is the role for you.


Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Python (minimum)
  • Strong Cloud Experience using AWS (infrastructure and security is beneficial)
  • Experience building data centric platforms
  • Experience with both SQL & DynamoDB
