Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team for an initial 5-month engagement. The role involves supporting and training software engineering squads on the best usage and utilization of GitHub Copilot / GenAI to aid in the software development lifecycle. This is a fully remote position and will involve working closely with various global teams to improve engineering efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks. Responsibilities Embed within each individual team for a 2-week sprint period, implementing a 'wash, rinse, repeat' model.Participate in paired programming with engineering teams to maximize the use of GitHub Copilot in day-to-day work without disrupting ongoing projects.Review ways of working, tools, pipelines, and testing environments as part of the 2-week sprint coaching period per team.Establish balanced scorecards for team metrics and measure improvements.Install and configure tools as part of pre-training, ensuring completion of computer-based training (CBT).Conduct post-engagement reviews, including feedback collection, improvement program implementation, and metric reviews.Measure team performance using standard tools such as NextGen Jira and GitLab.Essential Skills Prior experience in rolling out GitHub Copilot and coaching engineering teams on its usage and utilization.Experience with paired programming.Proficient in code reviewing.Knowledge of Generative AI, including artificial intelligence and machine learning.Familiarity with CI/CD, continuous improvement, continuous deployment, and continuous development processes.Proficiency in Java, .Net, SQL, Typescript, JavaScript (React), and Python.Understanding of natural language processing.Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in agile development and fintech environments.Why Work Here?
