The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce Engineer to join our dedicated Salesforce development team. You’ll work closely with our Lead Salesforce Engineer, partnering with Revenue Operations, Sales, Product, and Engineering to navigate complexity, make great decisions, and deliver impactful solutions.

Right now, we’re focused on modernising and improving our Salesforce infrastructure, and you’ll play a key role in shaping how it evolves and integrates with our platform. You’ll bring deep technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to work through ambiguity.

This role is more than just writing code—it’s about helping the team move forward, ensuring we build scalable solutions, and making Salesforce a true enabler for the business. You’ll also contribute to architectural decisions, drive technical improvements, and help foster a high-trust, high-performance culture within the team.

What You’ll Do

  • Design & Build Solutions:Develop high-quality, scalable Salesforce solutions that enhance our sales customer journey and internal operations.
  • Contribute to Architecture & Modernisation:Play a key role in shaping and evolving our Salesforce architecture to improve performance, maintainability, and integration with the wider Zappi platform.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:Work closely with ourLead Salesforce Engineer, Salesforce Admins, Product, Engineering, and Business Stakeholdersto translate requirements into practical solutions.
  • Optimise & Automate:Identify areas where Salesforce can driveprocess improvements, automation, and efficiency gainsacross Sales, Customer Success, and other business functions.
  • Ensure Quality & Performance:Writeclean, maintainable, and well-documented code, conduct thorough testing, and help establish best practices in version control, release management, and system security.
  • Solve Problems & Handle Uncertainty:Navigate evolving business requirements, provide creative solutions, and manage ambiguity effectively.
  • Stay Current & Share Knowledge:Keep up withSalesforce best practices, new features, and evolving technologies, while sharing insights with your team.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experienced Salesforce Engineer– You have a deep understanding ofSalesforce architecture, development, and best practices, includingFlow, Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and security considerations.
  • Delivery-Focused– You prioritise execution, ensuring work is high-quality, reliable, and aligned with business needs.
  • Proactive & Engaged– You take initiative, seek out improvements, and actively contribute to discussions and problem-solving.
  • Strong Communicator– You can translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively across teams.
  • Comfortable with Uncertainty– You can work with evolving requirements and navigate ambiguity without getting stuck.
  • Team-Oriented– You know how toadd value as a senior engineer, collaborate with peers, and uphold high engineering standards.
  • Hybrid Role– We trust you to work in the way that suits you best, but we also see huge value in face-to-face collaboration. While there are no mandated office days, we expect you to spend meaningful time in the office, to build relationships, immerse yourself in the team, and set yourself up for success.

Benefits

  • Salary range per annum £70,000 - £90,000 depending on experience. Salaries are benchmarked annually.
  • Unlimited holidays – we want well rested and motivated teams so encourage people to take plenty of time off. We don’t cap your allowance, but do set a minimum of at least 20 days per year plus national holidays
  • Three company-paid mental health days of rest every year (these are pre-scheduled, so the entire company can take the same days off regularly to reset)
