Our client has an opportunity for Senior Residential Support Workers to join our team in our children’s home in Abergavenny, supporting up to 4 Young People with Emotional & Behavioural Disorders. All homes are based in a semi-rural location to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for the individuals we support.They aim to provide a homely environment where Young People feel secure, supported, and nurtured so if you have a passion for providing therapeutic care & to make a positive impact to those in need, then please get in touch with us at Atlantic Resource.To be a successful Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll need:* QCF/NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Children and Young People).* Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in Care.* A willing attitude and a caring, reliable nature.* Compassion and empathy.* Enthusiasm to promote independence and choice.* A strong work ethic, flexibility, self-motivation, and resilience.* Excellent communication skills.* Due to the requirements of the role the minimum age requirement for the role is 22 years of age.* Full UK manual driving license (This is essential due to the needs of the Young People we support).In return for your Skills and Expertise as a Senior Residential Support Worker you’ll receive:Opportunities for Career progression upon completion of appropriate qualifications.28 days annual leave per year, plus up to 5 days additional leave for cont...
