LOCATION: Manchester/Hybrid (3 days from the office)
SALARY: £43,000 - £47,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Leadership of the Market Intel team. Respond to requests from customers, including proposals, project design and costing. Manage, supervise, and when needed execute all phases of Market Intel projects, including design, analysis, report writing and debrief. Supervise the work of team members, and contribute to their growth and career development. Communicate with and handle the senior levels of the key customers (in addition to their research/insight teams) to support and strengthen the relationship. Help drive the future of the company by contributing to the development and refinement of industry-leading proprietary tools and solutions.
- 5 or more years market research experience.
Essential skills & attributes:
- Five or more years of relevant work experience within strategy consultancy, research, or insight function.
- Prior consulting or research experience, combined with an understanding of advanced analytical and data science techniques.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills and data-driven problem-solving using a variety of research methodologies or statistical analyses.
- A combination of strong strategic thinking and very hands-on, process-driven approach.
- Proven track record of turning complex business issues and data into simple and actionable recommendations.
- Experience in working with customers to define their business questions and outline a clear and considered approach to solving them.
- Responsible for building industry and customer knowledge streams within the team.
- An ability to take ownership, organise their own work, and apply a meticulous attention to detail.
- A team player with a positive attitude who can inspire.
- Motivate and guide team members in terms of the professional career progression.
- A humble approach and desire to prove themselves in work delivered rather than words.
- At least 5 years line management experience, directly coaching and developing a team.
- Marketing knowledge or specialism in the children’s and teens’ space is advantageous.
