DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about cutting edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and ambient computing? The Amazon Alexa International team is looking for a Senior Product Manager on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract to improve and invent the Alexa customer experience for UK customers. As a Senior Product Manager, you will have a wide set of responsibilities to ensure our customers are delighted, including launching new Alexa powered devices and experiences and making Alexa continuously smarter. The ideal candidate will use analytical skills and strategic thinking to translate business needs into customer-focused solutions for UK customers. You will work closely with many partner teams including business development, solutions architects, engineering, marketing and legal to bring a world class Alexa experience to the UK.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Define user needs and identify opportunities to grow Alexa in the UK and Ireland.
  2. Launch Amazon Echo devices ensuring these exceed our customer's expectations.
  3. Define & prioritise high quality product roadmaps and working backwards plans to deliver on team strategy and vision.
  4. Own the roadmap and quality of the Alexa experience for specific Customer segments in the UK.
  5. Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial or technical goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement
  • Fluency in British language and culture

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Knowledge of Generative Artificial Intelligence
