The Role As a Senior Network Engineer, in the Sales function, you will play a pivotal role in leading technical engagements with our clients and to provide support for our Escalation Engineers in the CRC Team (our Coevolve Response Center which is our 24x7 Incident Management & Activations Team). Your expertise will be essential in guiding prospects and existing customers through complex technical landscapes, particularly in areas such as Global Network Assessments, SD-WAN/SASE, ZTNA, Multi Cloud Networking and Application Performance optimization. You will serve as the technical liaison with key vendors, helping shape the technical scope and design of our solutions while ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. Working together with the Operations (CRC) and Client Experience (CX) teams plus our Sales functions, the Senior Network Engineer will work across all four life cycle phases of our SD-WAN service offering (Assess > Deploy > Manage > Optimize), with the majority of the focus being in the Assess and Deploy phases. Responsibilities Lead Technical Discussions: Conduct technical meetings and discussions with prospects and clients to understand their needs and propose suitable solutions. Consulting Engagements: Support consulting projects, including Global Network Assessments, SD-WAN/SASE readiness, traffic optimization, VoIP, and other technical areas. Vendor Liaison: Act as a technical liaison with key vendors such as VeloCloud by Broadcom, Cato Networks, and Zscaler to ensure solutions are aligned with client needs. Project Support: Attend internal project meetings and assist project teams during implementation as needed. a. Review monthly report drafts prepared by the CRC and participate in monthly client Service Management meetings. b. Assist in design, Proof of Concept (PoC), or pilot testing as part of the sales process. c. Support the Client Experience team in progressing more complex Change Management for clients, addressing technical issues as necessary. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, encouraging discussions of new potential projects. Workshops and Documentation: Lead technical workshops before and after contract signatures to finalize scope and design. Develop and own technical scope and high-level design documents, including migration steps. Technical Review and Support: Conduct regular technical review meetings with clients to inform them of relevant solution enhancements and industry trends. Provide support during the implementation phase as needed. Knowledge Sharing : Proactively distribute knowledge to the team, sharing experiences during weekly Sales-Ops calls, weekly CTO-Ops Director calls, and via internal Microsoft Teams channels. Ongoing Process Improvement: Continuously contribute to the improvement of bidding, Change Management methodology, and other operational processes. Continued Learning and Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest market technologies, products, and services. Assist in Coevolve’s Product Development activities by leading technical workshops and refining technical methodologies, ensuring that our offerings remain cutting-edge and relevant to market needs. Skills and experience Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at both technical and conceptual levels. Technical Expertise : Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and excellent knowledge of the following technologies (hands-on experience preferred):WAN and LAN design a. Switching and routing (BGP, OSPF, QoS, CoS, NBAR, PBR) b. MPLS, Internet, DMVPN, IPsec c. Access technologies (Ethernet, PPP, Wireless, satellite) d. Network and Application Performance Management e. Network and Application Optimization tools f. Security concepts (firewalls, proxy servers, IDP/IPS) g. Cloud delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) h. Data center design, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Plans SD-WAN and Next-Gen Networking: Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE, multi-cloud networking, and other next-generation network technologies is a plus. Problem-Solving : Confident, tenacious, and self-driven with a proven track record of developing high-quality, commercially viable technical solutions. Client Relations Acumen: Good understanding of dealing with reasonably complex enterprise clients. Learning Agility: Desire and ability to quickly learn new technologies and interact with our preferred third-party vendors. A Global Mindset: a practical understanding of a global team, client and vendor collaboration and familiar with timezone management and working across cultures. Additional Requirements : Primarily remote with potential travel for short trips scheduled a few weeks in advance within the EMEA region and occasionally to the Americas. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field is desired. We also value exceptional work experience.
