Location - remote friendly employer supporting office and hybrid working. Regular presence at our Dykebar/Eastwood Health & Care Centre office is a requirement of this role. Based on the outskirts of Paisley with free parking and easy access to the motorway network you’ll be part of an inclusive and innovative finance team.

The shift pattern for this position is Mon-Fri.

Regional Sector

The Directorate has a combined annual revenue budget of over £435million and over 3,500 staff.

The Directorate services include Neurosciences & Spinal Injuries, Specialist Oncology, Renal, Plastic Surgery & Burns, Forensic Mental Health & Secondary Dental services, which support NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde sites as well as provide West of Scotland services.

Do you fit the requirements?

We are looking for someone who is committed to working in a demanding but enjoyable role in the NHS with a varied portfolio of services that are managed within the Directorate.

Capable of working with finance, clinical & non clinical staff at all levels the ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to use your own initiative with excellent communication, organisational, IT and finance/ business skills.

Working closely with the Head of Finance you will be responsible for supervising the Directorate Finance Team in the provision of a professional financial management service to directorate stakeholders.

We are looking for someone to lead, co-ordinate and develop the Acute Management Accounting team for North Sector; to manage, maintain and develop an efficient and effective system of budgetary control and to provide a comprehensive management accounting and reporting service to budget managers within NHS GGC Acute Services.

Ideally a professionally qualified accountant (or with equivalent work experience) you will be computer literate with excellent communication skills, be able to use initiative and deliver to strict timelines.
