As aSenior IT Audit Manager in our UK team, you will support the AuditDirector in leading the team of IT Audit professionals. You willhave real scope to help shape the Audit team and will be key inimplementing and driving our strategic priorities, co-create aleading audit function (including the use of Data Analytics andAgile methods) and deliver and role model changes. How you will make an impact As a Senior InformationTechnology (IT) Audit Manager in UK, you will primarily oversee thedelivery of IT, Operations and project audits and build businessrelationships with key stakeholders within UK to understand the ITand change risks in the UK business and develop the Audit Plan withthe support of the Audit Director and Audit Leads. The role willinclude presenting regular updates to Management and relevantCommittees, and you will report to the Audit Director, UK. You willalso play a role in implementing and driving our strategicpriorities, co-create a leading audit function using innovativeaudit approaches, new world skills (Data Analytics, ITfundamentals, and GenAI), and Agile methods, and serve as a rolemodel for delivering change. What will you be doing? - Input intothe overall UK risk assessment and audit planning, determining theright audit scope, key risks to be addressed, and most suitableaudit techniques and approaches alongside the Audit Director. -Keeping the business safe by overseeing the execution of aportfolio of audit engagements end-to-end, in line with quality,time, and budget requirements. - Support the global IT Centre ofExcellence to continuously evolve IT capabilities in Group Auditand drive the development of the wider team through upskillinginitiatives (New World Skills) and technical knowledge sharingsessions. - Creating a collaborative and supportive teamenvironment while overseeing the quality of outcomes. - Guiding,coaching, and supervising the work of the team throughout the auditengagement. - Oversee the performance and development of IT auditteam members assigned (career management responsibilities). -Influencing IT and Operations senior leaders through strongrelationships and insights and acting as a strategic partner forthe Audit Director. - Identifying themes and trends,systemic/emerging issues, and sharing insights with senior UKstakeholders as well as supporting reporting into relevant localCommittees and Project Steering Groups. - Contributing to the GroupAudit global team through sharing own technical knowledge andengaging in our continuous training program. What are we lookingfor? - Bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field andsignificant experience in Internal Audit. - Professionalcertification, such as CISA, CISSP, CISM or equivalent. - Relevantexperience at a senior level role in financial services,particularly insurance, is preferred. - Knowledge and competenceacross all IT domains paired with data analytics skills. Proventrack record with technology and governance controls for Cloud,Data Management, Cyber Security and new technologies, such asRobotics and Artificial Intelligence. - Experience in third-party,outsourcing and project management auditing. - Strong understandingand applicability of audit and / or business risk management andcontrol processes. - Proven record of working with and influencingexecutive/senior stakeholders, verbally and through writtenreports. - Demonstrated success in business, functional and peoplemanagement. - Excellent project management skills, ability toorganize teams, prioritize tasks, guide and coach the team todeliver on time to high quality standards. - Experience leadingteams through change with a collaborative, flexible, persistent andresults-oriented mindset. - Ability to work in a matrixorganization, managing and motivating diverse andmulti-disciplinary teams.
