Description

We’re hiring a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer with a strong focus on Generative AI, supported by deep experience in machine learning and NLP.

This is a senior-level, engineering-led role with significant autonomy and end-to-end ownership. You’ll lead the technical delivery of intelligent AI systems—from model integration and architecture to robust APIs and front-end interfaces. Your work will power high-impact solutions across some of the UK’s most ambitious AI programmes.

While you’ll collaborate with AI engineers, data engineers, and backend developers, your core responsibility will be translating AI concepts into reliable, scalable, and elegant software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and deploy full-stack Generative AI applications
  • Lead the integration of LLMs and intelligent components into enterprise-grade platforms
  • Develop and maintain backend systems, APIs, and frontends in alignment with engineering best practices
  • Apply NLP techniques (summarisation, classification, entity extraction, etc.)
  • Leverage classic ML approaches when appropriate to support GenAI use cases
  • Collaborate with clients, product leads, and technical teams to scope and deliver solutions
  • Guide junior engineers and contribute to internal capability building
  • Contribute to reusable GenAI frameworks, IP, and delivery accelerators
  • Stay ahead of evolving GenAI infrastructure, tools, and regulatory considerations

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience in software engineering roles, delivering complex AI/ML systems to production
  • Expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation methods
  • Strong understanding of NLP and classical machine learning techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to work across the full stack: backend, APIs, and frontend interfaces
  • Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS preferred; Databricks a strong plus)
  • Excellent architectural thinking, code quality, and performance mindset
  • Strong consulting skills: ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in agile, client-facing environments with autonomy and ownership
  • Based in or able to commute to London when required for client or team sessions

What do we offer?

  • Remote-first working with flexibility around client needs
  • Private health insurance
  • Projects with global brands & public sector leaders, working on real-world impact
  • Exclusive access to AWS & Databricks certifications, training, and partner tools
  • A collaborative culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
  • A lead role in shaping delivery standards and future AI practices
  • Competitive salary, bonus structure, and long-term growth opportunities

We are passionate about helping businesses navigate the rapidly changing and complex world of emerging technologies. We create well-structured, secure, scalable solutions at speed to provide the foundation for groundbreaking change.
