Senior Frontend Developer (Angular)

A tier 1 investment bank's market making team are in the process of a large scale transformation project to revamp all of their front office technology. This role will lead the new build out of their Rates trading platform(Angular) including the design and optimisation elements of the new application. This is a front office role where the candidate is expected to be able to work with the business directly (traders, quants, data scientists etc.) on all issues which may come up and handle the responsibility of modernising their Rates trading UI tech as well. A middle office engineering team will support this individual though it is not a man management position. Requirements: Computer science or related degree from a top university 5 years in Angular developer Minimum of 5 years experience in finance-related development environments Strong ability to work alongside businesses directly and understanding of business needs Up to circa. £150,000 base salary with some flexibility and 50-70% bonus, 2-3 days a week in the office.
