About the Role

Monks London is looking for a brilliant senior designer skilled in crafting brand experiences across campaigns, websites, contents and assets for one of the most iconic automotive brands. The ideal designer will be the core member of the dedicated team to who will grow the brand but more importantly will be a conduit for best in class standards across the UK & Europe.

Responsibilities:

You're a design thinker as much as a crafter. You understand cultures, you're open to new experiences and you're a tastemaker with impeccable and progressive aesthetics. You’re confident with your creative thinking, you ask questions, you contribute to the overall creative process and make work better through positive collaboration. In this role, you will be responsible for designing visuals for brand & product campaign that flexes across different touchpoints (website, social, POS, DOOH etc). Bonus if you have experience in managing multiple products and assets creation on Amazon pages. You'll be the gatekeeper, the brand guardian but also the person who pushes and seize opportunities to do great design. You’ll be elevating craft, you make sure that designs are awesome and in line with expectations. You work with big ideas but also the detail of all things design. You’ll help to translate creative/client briefs into thorough design briefs and territories. You go above and beyond the brief to push what’s possible when it comes to design opportunities and aesthetics. You’ll help to ideate, create style proposals, sketches and mockups to kickstart new projects For some projects, you set the style; for others, you help safeguard predefined styles.

About You

The essentials:

You’re a cross disciplinary creative & graphic designer with 8+ years of experience
as a digital-first integrated designer crafting design across multiple touch points. As showcased in your portfolio, you’ll demonstrate a breadth of well thought through beautifully designed executions. You’re a great collaborator and communicator, you’re able to lead and work with different disciplines and partners. You’ll also be overseeing and working with our production colleagues to make sure the final output of the creative and design are within the brand guide, best practice but most importantly the core idea of the campaign is preserved. You're a master of Photoshop / Illustrator / Figma / InDesign / After Effects. A passion for
Motions and edit would be a plus. You have experience with all stages of the design process, from conceptualising to designing layouts and quality assurance when working with the production team when rolling out different formats across markets. You're a tastemaker and has a strong design sensibility. You have a solid understanding and fundamentals such as typography, grid system, interaction design, flow, storytelling and design system, you can get teams to improve the work conceptually, aesthetically and functionally. You're confident to present designs to colleagues and clients alike. You’re a natural when it comes to leading workshops
