They are building an operating system to orchestrate work across all tools and company functions. By understanding human decision-making and actions, their system aims to enhance effectiveness, enabling individuals to focus on problem-solving rather than tool management.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experiencedSenior Data Scientistto join their innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of data science methodologies and machine learning techniques, with a proven ability to drive impactful business solutions through data insights.

As aData Scientist, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge AI solutions and designing systems that integrate AI into practical business applications. This includes a focus on agentic applications for information and data retrieval, summarization, process mining, and automation. You will also develop and refine quantitative frameworks and methodologies, exploring the integration of their core platform with generative AI products. This involves evaluating various product integrations, such as embedding AI capabilities into internal portals or third-party B2B SaaS platforms like Jira. Furthermore, you will analyse how diverse data types, unstructured documents, structured datasets, and external sources can be effectively combined. You will also study knowledge workers in specialised fields like engineering and support, identifying how their customers can best leverage the expanding ecosystem of AI agents to achieve maximum value.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex data science models that support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and interpret results to inform strategic decisions and optimize processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to create predictive models and machine learning algorithms that can be integrated into existing products and systems.
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and apply best practices to projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar, with experience in data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to stakeholders.
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
