Role: Senior Data Scientist Location: Manchester, UKSalary: £45K - £65K I am currently seeking a talented andexperienced Senior Data Scientist to join a dynamic team within aforward-thinking organisation. This is an excellent opportunity forsomeone who thrives on solving complex problems, leveraging largedatasets, and driving business insights through advanced analytics.Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation ofdata science models and algorithms to address key businesschallenges. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identifyand prioritise data-driven solutions. Utilise machine learningtechniques to build predictive models and optimise decision-makingprocesses. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data scienceprojects, from data extraction and cleaning to model deployment andmonitoring. Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering acollaborative and innovative team environment. Communicate findingsand recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concisereports and presentations. Stay updated with the latestadvancements in data science and machine learning, ensuring theorganisation remains at the forefront of industry developments.What we need from you: A strong academic background with a degreein a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics,Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Extensiveexperience in data science, with a proven track record ofsuccessfully delivering complex projects. Proficiency inprogramming languages such as Python, R, or similar. Experiencewith data visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to thinkcritically and analytically. Strong communication skills, with theability to translate complex technical concepts into actionableinsights for non-technical stakeholders.
