As they continue their remarkable trajectory of growth and innovation, they are in search of an accomplished and forward-thinking Senior Data Scientist to join them in their mission to becoming a disruptor in the FinTech space.As the Senior Data Scientist, you will help develop and optimise advanced models for business needs, from product personalisation to growth strategies. Using diverse data sources, you'll enhance user experience and operational efficiency and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into product and business strategies.What are we looking for…At our core, we value collaboration and psychological safety. Join us and thrive in an environment!Experience as a data scientist, building and deploying models to improve customer product experiences.Strong communication skills, simplifying complex ideas for non-technical audiences and senior stakeholders.Knowledge of AI safety, including bias detection, privacy management, and PII handling.Deep understanding of machine learning methods, real-world applications, and limitations.Expertise in SQL, Python, and core data science/machine learning librariesProficient in version control systems (e.G., Git) and collaboration in multi-developer environments.Results-driven, with the ability to iterate and enhance production models efficiently.Bonus Skills:Familiarity with software development best practices and CI/CD workflows.Experience with Amazon SageMaker for model development and deployment.Get in touch with Joely Callaghan directly at Synchro to find out more!Location: London – Hybrid working approach – 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.Salary: £65,000 - £100,000 + a superb benefits package (Including stock options).
