Senior Data Scientist

Senior Data Scientist Location: Wandsworth, London Hybrid working (3 days in the office) Branding Science Group is on a mission to become an industry-leading data-driven business, and we’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to help us get there.


This is a leadership role with the opportunity to shape the Data Science team strategy, lead innovation, and achieve commercial targets.


What you’ll be doing As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how we work with data.


Your key responsibilities will include: Leading data initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes, including spearheading our data commercialisation projects.


Designing and implementing process improvements and automation to improve efficiency across both project and administrative functions.


Building and deploying data extraction, analysis, and visualisation tools using internal and external datasets.


Developing data science-driven products and services for our clients in the healthcare and pharma insights sectors.


Executing business development plans to maximise growth and establish BSc as a leader in the field.


Acting as a thought leader by publishing white papers, thought pieces, LinkedIn content, and conference presentations to showcase our expertise in AI and data science.


Line-managing and mentoring team members.


What we’re looking for We’re seeking a proactive data scientist who is excited to drive innovation and influence the future of our business.


You will have experience in creating commercial products for pharmaceutical clients and achieving commercial growth.


Market research experience is highly desirable.


Required skills & experience: Proven experience of commercialising AI products within the market research and/or pharma industry is essential.


Extensive network with senior decision makers within pharma and market research industries is essential.


Evidence of achieving strategic growth targets and exceeding commercial targets is essential.


Experience designing, implementing, and communicating machine learning or AI tools.


Established as a subject matter expert.


Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in mathematics, statistics, data science, or another numerate discipline, or the equivalent in experience.


Experience designing, implementing, and communicating machine learning or AI tools.
