Please double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.• Build processes for extracting, cleaning and transforming data (SQL / Python)• Ad-hoc data mining for insights using Python + Jupyter notebooks• Presenting insights and predictions in live dashboards using Tableau / PowerBI• Design solutions that meet business objectives• Present back findings to clients through written documentation, calls and presentations• Actively seek out new opportunities to learn and develop• Adopt modern data science best-practiceRequired Skills • A numerate degree• Excellent scripting and programming ability in Python• Experienced in applying machine learning techniques (e.g. xgboost, regression, decision trees)• Experience in an area of advanced machine learning (e.g. LLMs, reinforcement learning, diffusion models, etc.)• SQL and experience with databases (SQL Server, Postgres etc)• Good understanding of statistics and probability• Willingness to learn new techniques• Excellent communication skills• An eye for detail• A love of puzzle solving
