This company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Loss Prevention Engineer to join their Global Security and Risk Management team.

As a Senior Data Loss Prevention Engineer (DLP), you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust data security solutions.
You will leverage your technical expertise in data security, risk mitigation, and R&D engineering to support the companys privacy and compliance initiatives.
Your work will ensure the seamless integration of data security measures across global operations, collaborating closely with various teams including Big Data (Kafka/ Flink/ Storm), R&D, and security departments.
Role / opportunity: Lead the end-to-end process of technical design, development, implementation, and integration of data security solutions using big data technology such as Kafka/Flink/Storm.
Lead the procurement, design, integration, deployment, and operations of data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.
Advance to next phase by developing algorithms for leakage detection and integrating these with data warehouses to monitor unusual data access or download activities.
Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong preference for Java/ Python expertise.
Experience with data lineage prevention (DLP), data compliance, and GDPR adherence.
Manage and integrate commercial security controls using Microsoft Intune and Purview for endpoint protection, CrowdStrike for cybersecurity, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Develop and deploy custom solutions using Java, Python, and SQL for data security.
Knowledge of big data technologies such as Flink, Storm, and Kafka is preferred.
