Requirements

About the Role 

We are looking for a Senior Data Integration Engineer to join our team and help shape the platform that powers our data-driven products. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across operational and strategic initiatives, directly contributing to the success of our platform and customer implementations.

As a Data Integration Engineer at Panaseer, you will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to operationalise and enhance the platform used to ingest data for our Continuous Controls Monitoring product. This role involves a balance of operational responsibilities and strategic contributions, ensuring that both short-term and long-term objectives are met. You'll get the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a meaningful impact in a collaborative and supportive environment focused on growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities 

Operational 

  • Lead the triage and prioritisation of technical requests, translating them into actionable product requirements that align with organisation goals
  • Scope technical requirements for development, ensuring solutions are scalable and suitable for broader customer use
  • Ensure high-quality outputs by setting and upholding high standards in testing and verification of technical builds
  • Support customer implementations, including taking lead of incident triage and resolution when required
  • Provide customer-facing support when required
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment of features and services, driving feedback loops to refine and improve product offerings

Strategic 

  • Help shape the product roadmap by gathering and prioritising feedback from customers and internal teams
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and refine solutions aligned with customer needs and organisational goals
  • Act as a key advocate for platform enhancements, educating internal teams on best practices and benefits to dive adoption
  • Drive rollout strategies to maximise adoption and success of new features

  • Drive continuous improvement of processes and workflows, fostering innovation and efficiency
  • Solve complex problems collaboratively or independently
  • Communicate effectively across teams and functions

 

Skills and Experience 

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: 

  • Strong organisational skills. The ability to lead multiple, high-impact projects concurrently. Proven experience in balancing stakeholder needs, aligning product initiatives with broader business objectives, and delivering successful outcomes
  • Communication and collaboration skills. Ability to drive alignments across technical and non-technical teams. Demonstrated ability to lead collaborative efforts, manage stakeholder expectations, and solve complex organisational challenges
  • Expertise in architecting and managing API integrations and ingesting data at scale.
  • Ability to deploy, configure, and optimise technical solutions for diverse customer requirements
  • SQL and familiarity with data analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC), testing, and conducting effective peer reviews
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and domains

Nice-to-have: 

  • Experience with Apache NiFi, Spark, and working in Unix/Linux environments 
  • Familiarity with networking and integrating data from on-premise and cloud-based tools
