One of theworld's leading ClimateTech scale-ups- founded in Scotland by world-class figures across the industry - have exclusively engaged Bright Purple to hire a newSenior Data Engineeras a hands-on lead overseeing the design and development of internal platforms and data solutions.

Ideally you are asoftware or data engineerpassionate about the environment and motivated by the idea of working for one of the fast-growing techs in the sector. Their ground-breaking, machine-learning mapping software has been used to support data-driven, climate-focused projects across the global, covering incredible areas of land and processing satellite data from some of the most important and critically endangered ecosystems on earth.

You would be joining a passion & intelligent team working with technologies like:

• Azure
• Python
• Terraform
• Machine Learning
• Artificial Intelligence

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Commercial experience in data, machine learning or software development
• Previous experience with Python and its related libraries
• Experience building cloud-hosted data pipelines
• Knowledge of modern cloud and dev-ops tools
• Linux/Unix
• Experience in geospatial data
