We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

Commodity Team Procurement Roles (Band 5 Annex 21)

Join our Commercial Team, where we are responsible for implementing national contracts tendered by National Procurement on behalf of Health Boards, as well as undertaking essential local contracting and tendering activities.

Our work is key to ensuring legal compliance while creating savings opportunities that drive the Sustainability & Value Programme.

These positions are ideal for candidates pursuing a career as specialist procurement professionals, offering opportunities to deepen their knowledge and attain procurement qualifications.

As part of a recent departmental restructuring, these posts have been created to meet the evolving needs of our service and to build an optimal skill mix for the future.

Advertised as Band 5 Annex 21 positions, the roles include a comprehensive training programme lasting between up to 23 months (Annex 21 (2)(ii)). This approach offers recently qualified graduates an invaluable entry path into a career in Procurement, providing experience and expertise in a cost-effective, supportive environment.

Please consider this opportunity if you’re ready to start a rewarding career that makes a tangible impact in healthcare procurement.
