Job Description ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior CareAssistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after thedifferent needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality,person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervisingand inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside theDeputy General Manager. You can also expect to support the clinicalteam in a specific area, such as medication, assessments, careplans or care reviews. Like everyone here, as a Senior CareAssistant, you'll always respect the dignity and preferences of ourresidents as well playing your own part in creating an environmentthat's warm, welcoming and vibrant. ABOUT YOU You should have anNVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to joinus as a Senior Care Assistant. We'll also need to see that you havespecific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're lookingfor people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed togiving each resident individualised care and support. You'll havethe opportunity to develop your career through ongoing trainingopportunities, so there's no limit to how far you can go with us.Many of our Senior Carer Assistants progress into CarePractitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
