Senior Bioinformatician

This role has a high level of impact as youwill be developing and implementing bioinformatics solutions acrossthe whole product pipeline. Youll need to be a good communicator asyou will be collaborating and working closely withmultidisciplinary teams.

KeyResponsibilities

• Developing and implementing novel mathematical models andstatistical analyses for variant calling and detection of minimalresidual disease
• Develop machine learningmethods for improving probe efficiency and selectivity.
• Providing insights into data that improves assayperformance.
• Develop high qualitycode.

Ideally YouWill Have

• PhD incomputational biology/bioinformatics/other related field
• Post doc or industry experience post PhD
• Strong background in maths and statistics
• Experience working within Oncology
• Experience processing analysing and interpreting NGSdata
• Exposure to ML tools and frameworks egTensorflow Pytorch
• Proficient programmingskills (Ideally Python)
• Familiarity withstandard software engineering tools (Jira Git CI/CD)
• Experience using workflow management systems (NextflowSnakemake)
• Exposure to Cloud environments(Ideally AWS)
