About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team in London. We are creating a fundamentally new approach to digital marketing, combining big data with large-scale machine learning. Our data sets are on a truly massive scale - we collect data on over a billion page impressions per month and analyse the content of hundreds of millions of documents a day.
Your responsibilities leading internal analytics will include:
- Design, build, test and maintain high volume DBT data models.
- Analyse complex datasets in SQL.
- Develop and optimise Looker Models using LookML.
- Work closely with business stakeholders on defining, prioritising and delivering our roadmap.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to best support their needs, and ensure we deliver impactful work in a timely manner.
- Manage and organise large datasets to support business intelligence reporting and analysis.
- Ensure a comprehensive approach to data integrity and data governance.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.

We’re looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer with the following:
- An advanced degree (Bachelor/Masters) in computer science or a related field.
- Solid programming skills in both SQL and Python.
- Proven work experience in DBT and LookML.
- Passion for processing large datasets at scale (BigQuery)
- Experience with Apache Airflow is a plus.
- Initiatives around performance optimisation and cost reduction.
- A commercial mindset, driving value from data.
