Position Overview: The Enterprise Security Architect is responsible for designing, building, and implementing robust security solutions for the enterprise. This role requires a highly skilled individual who can architect security frameworks to protect the company’s IT assets, data, and infrastructure from both internal and external threats.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design customised solutions using a varied technology stack (Cloud AWS/Azure, IAM providers such as Ping and ForgeRock and API gateways such as Kong, Mulesoft etc)

  • Work with DevOps teams to implement automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.

  • Ensure solutions are optimised for performance, availability, and cost, and provide recommendations for cost optimisation and resource utilisation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, security, and project managers, to ensure successful implementation and delivery of solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and participate in knowledge-sharing and training initiatives.

  • Stay current with relevant technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and provide thought leadership and guidance to clients and internal teams.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures.

  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including scoping, estimation, and proposal development, as needed.

    Requirements/Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in Financial Services domain.

  • Experience with AWS landing zone is required.

  • Preference for consulting or services provider experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience in designing and deploying cloud-based solutions, including but not limited to AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, MongoDB, Kong API Gateway and Ping IAM.

  • At least 5 years technical experience with cloud technologies and/or on-premises infrastructure.

  • 4-5 years large-scale customer facing experience (e.g., enterprise).

  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security.

  • Experience with DevOps tools and processes, such as CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and configuration management.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
