ABOUT THE ROLE

Scrum Master/Business Analyst required with technicalbackground to support software development of for DischargeAssistance Planning software at DBHDS.
This individualis required to play a dual role primarily grooming backlog storywriting and help PM & development team with Scrumceremonies.

This role is required to play a dualrole:

1.Help Project Manager as needed with thefollowing duties:
a. Leveraging agile framework helpProject Manager drivetimeboxed iterations calledsprints.
b. Support Project Manager as needed to drivesprint planning dailystands sprint reviews retrospective scrumboard administration.
c. Help removeimpediments.

2. As an Agile BusinessAnalyst (Agile BA) who understands and experienced with the Agilemethodology to help using business Agile principles work withstakeholders to help them understand the benefits of Agile and howit can help their business. They also help the development teamunderstand the business requirements and how they can be met usingAgile methods.
a. Analyze the Business Domaininitiatives to identify epics and features requirements.
b. Help Product Owner develop and manage Productstrategy.
c. Stock and Groom the ProductCatLog
d. Help break user stories into Minimum ViableProduct (MVP)
e. Help development team understand biggerpicture.
f. Convert business requirements into businessprocess flows and functional requirements.
g. Serve asProxy Product Owner as needed.

Skills

StrongCommunication Skills: An Agile BA needs to communicate with nearlyeveryone and consider everybodys needs and concerns. At the sametime they should ensure a shared understanding of the productvision and requirements.

Flexibility andAdaptability: As Agile teams are crossfunctional andselforganizing; an Agile BA must learn to continuously selfreflectand think how best they can contribute to the team. They should beable to easily adapt to new and changing requirements by doingdetailed analysis beforehand.

Knowledge ofDifferent Tools and Techniques: Agile tools and techniques make theteam more effective. They help to ease backlog managementprovidetime collaboration make estimates and reports for sprintsand releases. A good grasp of the different tools and techniquesavailable for Agile is a crucial skill in order to become an AgileBA.

Facilitation skills: The ability toeffectively facilitate meetings and scrum ceremonies is vital.Scrum masters ensure these events run smoothly and focus on theintended outcomes.

Technical knowledge: Whilenot mandatory having a technical background can be beneficialespecially when working with development teams. It allows scrummasters to better understand the technical challenges faced by theteam

Scrum framework: SME in agile/ scrumframeworks and tools.

Certifications
