An experienced Sales Development Representative with relevant experience is needed to join our team at Bigspark, a leading UK-based consultancy on a full-time, remote (work-from-home) basis. Bigspark is a UK-based consultancy delivering next-level data platforms and solutions with a focus on exciting technologies, including Apache Spark and Apache Kafka and working on projects within Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Streaming and Data Science. We provide our clients with the backbone for modern analytics through expertise in DevOps, distributed computing, machine learning, and the adoption of proven open-source projects. We specialise in backend development, infrastructure automation, and performance engineering for data workloads at scale. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career with a well-established company About the Role The Sales Development Representative nurtures both inbound and outbound sales opportunities. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless transition from prospect to qualified lead. Key Responsibilities: Conduct online discovery calls to qualify leads Perform thorough customer research to understand potential needs Once leads are qualified, pass them to the Practice Manager for solution sourcing and ownership Understand and assess customer needs to provide effective solutions Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients Showcase the value of our products and services through engaging presentations Provide product demonstrations tailored to the client's specific requirements Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create customised solutions for clients Develop follow-up marketing emails to nurture and convert leads Offer guidance and support during the pre-sales process Identify technical requirements and provide solutions accordingly Required Experience: Experience within a similar role in a tech/software/SaaS business Experience with HubSpot is preferred Experience in building marketing follow-up emails Required Skills: Excellent analytical skills to assess and qualify leads Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Superior organisational and listening skills Customer service-oriented with the ability to build relationships Technical knowledge to understand and address customer needs effectively Benefits: Sales Commission Generous Annual Leave Discretionary Annual Bonus Pension Scheme Life Assurance Private Medical Cover (inc family) Permanent Health Insurance Cover / Income Protection Employee Assistance Programme Perkbox account Access to an Independent Financial Advisor Laptop Remote, work-from-home position Sounds interesting?
