About the role
Applications are invited for a Research Associate position to conduct research and develop algorithms for physical layer of 6G networks within the Signal Processing and Networks research group at Loughborough University.
The focus <SPAN > </SPAN> will be on the development of signal processing algorithms and implementation of them in a USRP-based communication system.
The position is for 8 months (with a possibility of extension of 6 months) and funded by the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council.

About you
Applicants must have a PhD (or about to obtain a doctoral degree soon) in Electronic Engineering or in a relevant field and research experience in signal processing/machine learning for wireless communications.
Practical experience of working on wireless communication algorithms in USRP would be an advantage.
Good programming skills and experience in Matlab and Python programming are essential.
Candidates should have a strong publication record with extensive experience in publishing research findings in international journals and conference proceedings.
