About the role

The post will be within the Principles of Natural Language, Logic, and Statistics Research Lab of the UCL CS department. The post holder will have an exciting opportunity to work on the highly popular and timely areas of NLP and quantum computing, and in the design of a pipeline to use quantum technology to model natural language.

About you

The ideal candidate should have theoretical and practical experience in the following areas: NLP, quantum computing, logic and mathematics. Experience in multiple areas will be valued. Experience in media recommendations would be a bonus. The candidate should have submitted/defended their PhD in CS or related area. We also expect a demonstrated record of working with quantum simulation languages such as Qiskit, experimentation on NLP tasks, and group-leading experience in any or all of these areas.

What we offer

This is a grade 6B/7 role:

Grade 6B (including London Allowance)- £35, - £38,

Grade 7 (including London Allowance)- £39, - £47,
