We are looking for a Redbridge Home Treatment Team Manager to join the Acute and Rehabilitation Directorate. Main duties of the job
The Redbridge Home Treatment Team serves working age adults resident within the borough of Redbridge who are in a mental health crisis in order to offer treatment at home in the least restrictive way. The team aims to formulate a person centred recovery plan which addresses a range of needs to resolve the crisis and work with the service user and their support network to develop strategies in order to prevent any future relapse.
The Crisis team work very closely with other services within NELFT as well as wider services to support the patient journey. The Team Manager will be expected to sustain these key relationships and promote good interface in order to ensure a smooth journey for the service user.
The Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the practices within the team are underpinned by the Trust Values and The NHS Long Term Plan . The functions of the team include gatekeeping all acute admissions, early discharge from inpatient services as well as crisis intervention using a range of interventions using a multi-disciplinary team approach.

Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
High-Cost Area Supplement
This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,551 and a maximum payment of £5,735) (pro rata for part time staff).
