They handle installations ranging from single-node cloud-based deployments, to our largest on hybrid, geographically distributed architectures.You’ll have tons of opportunities to apply your skills to interesting new problems. We hire developers who are hungry to learn and keep up with the newest trends.Responsibilities:Use a consultative approach to customer engagementsLook for opportunities to help the customer achieve their vision more effectively and efficientlyDeliver on SOW with guidance from technical architectsContribute to the extension and maintenance of documentation/scripts for implementation and workflow to align with custom requirements via product management and development teams.Communicate opportunities to the customer account teamProvide feedback to product management and development team to improve the quality of the product in line with customer requirements and our own efficiency needsProvide feedback to Project Managers to make scheduled delivery more consistentContinually work with Project Managers and Build Manager to streamline and improve deliveryExert influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of your team and Professional ServicesProvide mentorship for Professional Services Engineers to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers to their autonomyManage/oversee/deliver on multiple projects, either as the primary engineer, or as a lead providing oversight to other Professional Services EngineersWhat we're looking for: Skills Essential Implementing and/or maintaining high performance/high volume storage solutionsHigh Throughput Network solutions such as Infiniband and Ethernet (RoCE)Parallel, clustered or scale-out file systems such as Spectrum Scale (GPFS), Lustre, BeeGFS, Quantum StorNext, OneFS, Qumulo, Weka, etcEnterprise data storage technologies, such as SAN and NAS storage, Fibre Channel and iSCSI, CIFS/SMB, and NFSWindows Server administration and/or UNIX/Linux system administration experienceExperience within Media & Entertainment or Research-focused industriesKnowledge of cloud computing & storage, and object storage (AWS, GCS, Azure) High Desirable Cross-platform system administration experience, including user authentication in a mixed Windows/POSIX environmentNetworking experience, including advanced switch configurationHigh throughput networking RDMA, RoCE, NVMeOF, IPoIBLDAP or Active Directory experienceExperience with high-performance computing and/or M&E FocusedScripting experience – Perl, python, bash, ksh, and/or PowerShell, etcTechnical writing, technical consulting, or training experienceExperience with data collection and analysis, including reporting and monitoring toolsExperience with configuration management frameworks such as Salt, Ansible, etcExperience with metric and health monitoring platforms such as Nagios and PrometheusBasic Docker experienceVendor-specific SAN/NAS certifications Soft Skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes with multiple customer engagements at oncePositive disposition and solution-oriented mindsetEffective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, and provide clear status updatesSelf-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skillsAbility to thrive in a fully hybrid working organization (remote workers + office workers, multiple international offices across a wide range of time zones)~30% travel may be requiredExperience Working at a consumer of technologies used for high performance computing, artificial intelligence or media & entertainment production.Technical project management experience Profile Degree in Computer Science or similar preferred, but not requiredOf course, you might not have all of those required skills!
