Job Description

As a Product Owner for the Xplor Active application, you will be responsible for the product vision and its execution. Your role will be to maximize the application's value by meeting user needs while aligning with the company’s business objectives. You will collaborate with technical teams, designers, stakeholders, and clients to evolve and enhance the application, making it an essential tool that significantly improves the user experience in the fitness sector.
The Xplor Active application is designed for gym members using Xplor Deciplus and Xplor Resamania solutions. A leader in the French market, Xplor Active serves millions of users and is expanding internationally, particularly in the UK and Spain.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Product Manager to understand and embrace the product vision.
  • Collaborate with developers, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to design innovative solutions aligned with identified needs and the product vision.
  • Clarify and adapt specification formats to meet stakeholder needs. Facilitate discussions to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Write clear and detailed specifications with acceptance criteria to guide development teams.
  • Provide support to teams in contact with clients by delivering responses aligned with the product vision when necessary.
  • Analyze user feedback and usage data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful adoption of new features.
  • Conduct ongoing research on competitor applications and innovations in the fitness and mobile app industries.


Qualifications

Required Profile:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, ideally with mobile applications.
  • Technical Skills: API, Strong understanding of mobile development processes (iOS and Android) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data to make fact-based decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • User Orientation: Passion for user experience and the ability to empathize with clients.
  • Languages: Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken. Spanish would be a plus.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in the fitness industry or gym management software.
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools.
  • Sensitivity to UX/UI design and trends in mobile applications.
