About the Role & Team

We are seeking a skilled Product Owner to help drive the development of cutting-edge services that optimise business processes and exposure management for insurance submission processing.

As part of a highly experienced team with deep expertise in commercial reinsurance and service-oriented IT architecture, you will work alongside industry leaders to shape strategic development paths using Agile methodologies. This is a unique opportunity to influence multiple development teams and create impactful solutions for underwriters and other key business units.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage backlogs for up to six development teams, setting clear objectives and milestones to maximise efficiency.
Engage with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, breaking down complex concepts into actionable deliverable's.
Prioritise product backlog items based on business value, technical feasibility, and resource availability.
Foster strong relationships across teams, collaborating with data scientists, engineers, underwriters, and leadership to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Work closely with other Product Owners and domain experts to translate intricate business needs into innovative software solutions.
Gain a deep understanding of business processes and data work flows, ensuring seamless integration into development initiatives.
Conduct user acceptance testing to validate that products meet business requirements and stakeholder expectations.

About You

You are a highly motivated and results-driven individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. You enjoy engaging with stakeholders and take a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

3-5 years of experience in product management (preferably in the insurance sector).
A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conceptualise scalable solutions.
Solid understanding of service-driven architecture and Agile product management methodologies.
Highly proficient in Confluence, Jira, and Excel, with a process-driven mindset.
Ability to map and document business processes using flow diagrams.
