What you’ll be doing

Manages a team by providing technical direction and setting review processes for new developments and in life for products and services, setting priorities and allocating work accordingly. Validates and reviews team’s design work to ensure architectural conformance and adherence to time and budget in scope. Holds accountability to ensure that the design integration comes together for a domain or cross domain area ensuring that the overall solution works and is integrated. Reviews solutions to ensure full integration across all aspects and holds accountability for that solution within a domain or cross domain, ensuring consistency in architecture and technical processes. Drives the functional rationalisation of Service Monitoring capabilities, working with the Enterprise Architect in order to retain best in class monitoring while supporting and supporting the mobilisation of new best in class monitoring solutions. Demonstrates value and cost efficiency within the programme balancing the current monitoring against new spend. Achieves full E2E monitoring coverage for all services as part of an agreed programme of work. Sets out the strategy for E2E AIOps for NAAS & other new services for our customers aligning to best practises cross BT.

What you'll bring

Mandatory:

Strong Service / Resource assurance background at a mid / senior level. Experience of project delivery in an agile environment. Excellent communication skills. Operational understanding / experience of ITIL processes. Evidence of being able to plan and manage delivery in a complex multi project environment. Experience of leading cost saving activities Ability to lead efforts that significantly improve customer experience. Experience of matrix team leadership and knowledge of Event Management & AI Ops. Understanding of Regulatory compliance and governance protocol. 

Desirable:

Experience of functionality delivery in a ServiceNow environment. Experience working on or implementing Service Now ITSM & ITOM Previously delivered an automation, or operations-based project / programme of work.
