The Role: 

The AI Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritizing the product vision and roadmap for the AI Agentic platform, and additional AI internally developed products. This role requires a deep understanding of user needs and business goals to translate them into actionable product features. The AI Product Owner will work closely with the AI development team to ensure successful product delivery that maximizes value and adoption across the organization.

Key responsibilities & deliverables:

Owning the product vision and strategy, and effectively communicating it to stakeholders.

Acting as the voice of the customer, deeply understanding their needs and translating them into product requirements.

Prioritizing development efforts to deliver the most impactful features that drive business outcomes.

Define and communicate the product vision and strategy.

Develop and maintain the product roadmap.

Gather and analyse user needs and business requirements.

Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.

Manage and prioritize the product backlog.

Collaborate with the AI development team (Engineers, Analysts, UI/UX) to ensure successful product delivery.

Ensure product quality and alignment with user and business needs.

Monitor and analyse product performance and user feedback to drive iterative improvements.

Relevant experience & skills:

Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in an AI or technology-driven environment.

Experience with agile development methodologies.

Experience in a corporate setting, driving adoption of new technologies (desirable).

Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and technologies.

Understanding of user-centred design principles (desirable).

Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agent platforms (desirable).

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage a product backlog effectively.
