The Customer Problem

ComplyAdvantage is forging the future of financial security with one of the world's most extensive databases of risk-relevant information. Our ambitious mission involves synthesising data on hundreds of millions of entities from tens of thousands of sources across various languages. Our client base spans banks, payment processors, and crypto wallet providers, all relying on our data to gauge customer risks effectively and precisely.

The challenge? Transforming this massive trove of information into streamlined, actionable insights through unified profiles and an intuitive, smart search interface. You'll immerse yourself in understanding customer risk assessment processes. You'll collaborate closely with fellow Product Managers, harness advanced machine learning and AI with our data scientists, and work alongside engineers to craft and deploy powerful solutions.

We're searching for someone with a sharp focus on customer experience, robust analytical prowess, inventive problem-solving skills, and a passion for wrangling large, intricate datasets. In this pivotal position, you will:

  • Take ownership of the processes and interfaces that ensure our risk information is matched to customers swiftly and efficiently.
  • Define and champion the vision and strategic roadmap for our search & monitor capabilities
  • Collaborate with leaders of customer-facing products, as well as with commercial teams and key customers, to develop and execute a roadmap that enhances data access, drives adoption and revenue growth, and meets emerging use cases.
  • Work side-by-side with Data Scientists and other Product Managers to support the launch of new product features by developing robust data access methods that unlock valuable insights for our customers.
  • Work closely with your engineering and data science colleagues to articulate and implement a cohesive technical and product strategy that revolutionises how we provide access to our data.
  • Spearhead initiatives to integrate machine learning and AI technologies to refine and enhance the user experience and efficiency.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team collaborations to ensure alignment on product development goals and timely delivery of solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends and technological advancements to keep our product offerings innovative and competitive.
  • Lead the evaluation and integration of new data sources to continuously expand and update our risk information database.
  • Advocate for the user experience, ensuring that our interfaces are intuitive and empower customers to leverage our data effectively.

  • The search team is executing on a roadmap that will continue to improve access to our data, adoption, and revenue

  • Search functionality stands as a cornerstone of our value proposition, driving customer acquisition and retention with its unparalleled efficacy.

The Requirements

  • Exceptional analytical abilities paired with outstanding communication skills in English, capable of effectively articulating complex concepts and engaging with diverse and senior audiences
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, adept at navigating complex relationships and aligning various interests to achieve business objectives
  • Highly motivated individual who takes pride in their work and plays an active role in fostering a collaborative and informal work environment
  • Demonstrated experience with large data sets, with a deep understanding of data pipelines, and a solid grasp of how data science leverages machine learning to transform raw data into actionable insights for end-users
  • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-scale systems that prioritise scalability, reliability, and a high-quality user experience
  • Familiarity with the latest technologies and methodologies in data analysis, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modelling
  • Ability to conduct rigorous data analysis and optimise data fidelity across multiple platforms and interfaces
  • Skilled at synthesising feedback from various sources to improve data tools and processes continuously
