  • Strong experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager/Business Analyst
  • An excellent background on the buy-side with an asset manager, investment manager or hedge fund
  • Experience delivering a front office trading portfolio management system or order management system (OMS/PMS)
  • Excellent road-map design and future product planning experience
  • Knowledge of equity, FX, fixed income or commodity markets
  • Great ability to work between technical and business teams
  • Agile

  • Pre-trade research and order management

You will be working with two front end development teams who are further building out a portfolio management system (PMS). So far, the system suite covers performance, risk, portfolio modelling and benchmark analysis. It is adopted almost entirely by the equity portfolio managers, to a good degree by fixed income portfolio managers and is looking to grow substantially in the multi-asset space. A significant part of your role over the next 12 months will be to promote and increase the adoption of the product within the multi-asset space, without compromising on it's identity as a multi-asset and unified platform. Further to this, you will also work on the product's integration with fixed income quantitative analysis and grow the risk analytics capability.

You will work with one other product owner and two business analysts. The business analysts have the responsibility of building out existing requirements, whilst you and the other product owner with collaborate with adjacent technology teams and departments and the business to determine the roadmap for the application suite and the priority of deliverables.

Buy-side experience is essential. You must also have worked with in-house development teams to deliver front office applications. You will have a good appreciation for investment management in fixed income or equities.
