We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Director of Product Management to lead BMC’s Helix AIOps and the relevant foundational components of Helix Platform. This is a critical leadership role responsible for defining and driving our Observability and AIOps strategy led by our Agentic AI-first philosophy fusing cutting-edge AI innovation with scalable, platform-native capabilities that power the future of Observability, IT Operations Management powered by Helix AIOps.

You will manage core parts of BMC Helix AIOps – the capabilities that generate insights from all the data in Helix platform – which includes alerts, metrics, logs, tickets, KBs and a lot more adjacent data. The leader along with their product management team, will work to deliver the customer acquisition, and capability adoption goals that align with the business priority of BMC Helix. You will also work with the data ingestion and remediation leaders to ensure the end-to-end platform vision and value is brought to fruition.

You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, UX, Sales, and GTM teams—and serve as a key field-facing executive—to deliver a cohesive, intelligent, and outcome-driven experience for customers.

Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

Product & AI Platform Leadership

Create a compelling product vision and a cutting-edge Agentic AI strategy for AIOps that is innovative, ambitious, and transformative - anchored in customer value and competitive differentiation.
Define and lead the execution of our platform-wide AI strategy, embedding Agentic AI natively across BMC's product suite to help customers accomplish more with less effort.
Partner with Engineering leadership to optimize data infrastructure and AI delivery layers, enabling continuous experimentation, rapid iteration, and operational excellence.
Identify and prioritize high impact use cases where Agentic AI adds value across ServiceOps, working across team boundaries to weave intelligence natively into the platform.
Drive pricing and packaging for AIOps and platform services, aligning with go-to-market success and enterprise growth goals.

Outbound Engagement

Act as a highly visible and customer-facing product executive, deeply engaged in field sales, customer briefings, EBCs, analyst sessions, and strategic accounts.
Maintain a strong pulse on customer needs and evolving industry dynamics by actively engaging in customer conversations, competitive analysis, and opportunity evaluation.
Serve as a passionate evangelist for how AIOps and platform-native innovation will redefine the way customers derive value from BMC Helix.
Drive product differentiation and elevate our position within the analyst community and customers by driving faster adoption
Own strategic partnerships with hyperscalers and Agentic AI ecosystem players (e.g., AWS, GCP, OpenAI) to extend product capabilities and accelerate adoption.

Team Leadership & Execution

Lead and grow a high-performing team of senior product leaders, fostering clarity, alignment, and excellence across the Helix AIOps.
Drive operational rigor across planning, roadmap execution, cross-functional alignment, and GTM readiness.
Champion reusable, scalable, and intelligent services across the BMC product ecosystem to deliver lasting, measurable business outcomes for customers.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years in executive leadership roles in SaaS, platform, or enterprise software.
Proven track record in defining and delivering Agentic AI-first product strategies and driving platform-wide innovation.
Expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, cloud-native architecture, data infrastructure, and enterprise integration frameworks will be a plus
Experience managing high-impact partnerships with hyperscalers, model providers, and other ecosystem players.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across functions and inspire teams.
Strong executive presence and experience engaging directly with enterprise customers, sales teams, and industry analysts.

Experience with the IT Operations / Observability / AIOps domain
