Description Summary As the Product Manager for our Personalised Offers Engine you will manage the capabilities which serve offers to our 18m Sparks customers, from data science modelling, through offer allocation, to reporting and measurement. You’ll delight our customers, and unlock significant value to the business, through the development of data-driven processes to select the best offers at any given time for every one of our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Loyalty D&T team, and create products our teams love, directing product from design through to launch and maintenance, while role modelling digital behaviours and nurturing a culture of data-driven decision making throughout. Acting as the ‘voice of the customer’, you'll develop innovative data driven product solutions to sophisticated customer problems, translating customer needs into a product strategy, vision(s), roadmap(s) and backlog(s); either as the owner of a simple product or supporting experienced product managers to deliver on more complex products. What you'll do Support with shaping the product vision to influence business outcomes; balancing priorities motivated by customer needs, product health and industry trends. The mission is to collaborate across M&S to design and deliver desirable resilient solutions. Management of complex products that lead to the delivery of measurable value. Collaborate closely with partners aligning business, product and technical priorities to support the product direction and promote the product roadmap Manage/support the backlog and prioritise new features Define user stories, features and functionality that alleviates current pain points and improves customer experience Partner with a multi-disciplinary squad (Data Scientists, Data Engineers, ML Ops, Delivery) through the Product Management lifecycle, ensuring success measures are defined and tracked and communicated Support with the creation of business cases as required Gain an understanding of DevOps processes, understanding the triage and resolution of major incidents and principles of operational success Own/Support launch readiness with clear communication collaborating closely with all parties to ensure adoption Track industry developments and suggest innovation opportunities for your product to ensure M&S is best in class Become proficient in experimentation techniques, user science tools and data analysis to validate ideas Who you are A good understanding of and interest in product management tools and processes and customer needs Able to organize and prioritise collaboratively across multiple disciplines Analytical and logical approach to problem solving Good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with cross functional teams Awareness of Product delivery in an Agile software environment Understanding of Product Health and performance Experience with data science products desirable Experience within retail desirable but not essential Everyone’s welcome We are ambitious about the future of retail.
