About the Role

We’re seeking a hands-onProduct Evaluation Engineerto join our Product Management team in Bristol. You’ll play a critical role in evaluating our hardware and software solutions to ensure they meet the highest standards before release. This includes testing products in the office and onsite, contributing to product improvement, and collaborating with technical authors and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-office and onsite evaluations of hardware kits and software packages.
  • Maintain and run product evaluation environments, including ground-truth systems.
  • Provide feedback to enhance user guides, manuals, and product usability.
  • Identify areas for improvement in product evaluation processes.
  • Operate robotics and mapping kits, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.


What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of sensors and robotics, including cameras, LiDAR, IMUs, GNSS, and robot platforms.
  • Knowledge of ground-truth systems like motion capture, total stations, or 3D scanning.
  • Python programming for data extraction and analysis.
  • Basic understanding of SLAM technology and ROS/ROS2 environments.
  • Valid UK driving license.

Desirable Skills:

  • Background in robotics or computer vision technologies.
  • Experience setting up cameras, sensors, or stage production equipment.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
