Product Development Engineer

We are working with a specialist design and manufacturer to recruit for their new Product Development Engineer who will play an important role in leading projects from initial concept through to completion. Contributing to the future of the business's products and processes, you will be responsible for; Leading the design and development of new products by working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure solutions are both innovative and aligned with customer expectations Perform in-depth cost evaluations to ensure projects are financially viable Create precise designs and prototypes that pave the way for successful product launches. Oversee scheduling to guarantee efficient production flows, optimal resource allocation, and minimal interruptions Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards Constantly seek and integrate process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality What we are looking for; Degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or similar with demonstrable experience in a similar role to include; Use of SolidWorks or comparable 3D CAD software.
